Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cabbage Head
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Have your seasonings and tools ready on the side. Cut cabbage into 1-inch (2.5 centimeters) thick wedges or slices. On the other hand, preheat the air fryer to 400°Fahrenheits (200°Celsius).
  • Grab your mixing bowl. Add oil and lemon, followed by the other seasonings such as granulated garlic or garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Now that you have all that, it is now time to mix everything well. After mixing, get your brush and apply the mix on both sides of the cabbage wedges.
  • After you have it all thoroughly brushed, place the cabbage onto air fryer basket in a single layer per tier into the air fryer. Air fry it for 8-10 minutes under 400°Fahrenheits (200°Celsius).

Notes

  • Fresh Cabbage: To experience the best cabbage steak, make sure that you are using fresh cabbage. A fresh cabbage should be bright green.
  • Time of Cooking: The time spent inside the air fryer needs to be monitored as well.  Always keep in mind that the cabbage should remain tender rather than soggy.
  • Taste of the Food: Mix and match spices and seasonings. For added spice, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes would do.
  • Serve it Fresh: Nothing tastes better than a freshly cooked meal. Serve this dish moments after they come out from the air fryer.
