Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Cooked Chicken Breast shredded
  • 2 Cups Salad Greens
  • 1/2 Cup Cherry Tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 Cup Celery thin slices
  • 1/4 Cup Cucumber sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons Blue Cheese Crumbles
  • 2 Tablespoons Hot Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Collect cooked shredded chicken, hot sauce, fresh veggies, olive oil, vinegar, and blue cheese. Rinse and chop everything so the salad comes together quickly.
  • Toss shredded chicken with hot sauce in a bowl and let it sit 5–10 minutes to absorb the flavor.
  • Add greens to a bowl, then top with celery, tomatoes, cucumbers, and spicy chicken. Finish with crumbled blue cheese.
  • Whisk olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth for a light, tangy dressing.
  • Drizzle dressing over the salad, toss gently to combine, and serve cold for a crisp, spicy, and refreshing meal.

Notes

  • Chill your salad bowl before serving: A cold bowl keeps the salad crisp and refreshing, especially if serving on warm days. It’s a simple trick that elevates the whole dish.
  • Crumble the cheese gently with clean hands: This helps preserve the texture and prevents the cheese from turning mushy or clumping too much in one bite. Blue cheese dressing can also be an option.
  • Toss the salad just before serving: This keeps everything fresh and prevents the dressing from making the greens soggy.
  • Balance the ingredients: If your blue cheese is very sharp, a tiny drizzle of honey or a few dried fruits can mellow it out without overpowering the flavor. Other ingredients you can put into your salad are walnuts, pecans, pears, romaine lettuce, feta, grape tomatoes, and vinaigrette.
