Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sliced Strawberries
  • 1 Cup Water

Instructions

  • Start by washing your strawberries thoroughly under cool water. Pat them dry with a clean towel. Once dry, remove the green tops and slice the strawberries evenly. Thinner slices will dry faster and more evenly.
  • Place the strawberry slices in a single layer on the dehydrator trays. Make sure they’re not overlapping so they dry evenly.
  • Follow the instructions and set your dehydrator to 70 Celsius or 160 Fahrenheit for 7 to 8 hours, depending on your dehydrator type. Close the lid and start dehydrating.

Notes

  • Choose ripe strawberries for the sweetest flavor. Overripe strawberries can become mushy and won’t dry as well.
  • Slice the strawberries evenly so they dry at the same rate.
  • Store your dried strawberries in an airtight container to keep them fresh and chewy.
