This dumpling recipe I made is loved by my kids. They like it as a quick snack or when I add it to their meal. I like cooking this because it is easy, healthy and low carb. Regular dumpling recipes that require making dough from scratch can take 30 minutes to an hour. This recipe is suited for people like me who make meals in small servings for the entire family.

Add all your ingredients to a cup and whisk. Form the dough into a dumpling shape then steam. Follow the step by step instructions below to know how to make the easiest and fastest dumpling recipe.

One: Prepare All Ingredients

All ingredients should be on the side ready to be mixed. Have your mixing cup and electric whisk prepared as well.

Two: Mix by Whisking

In your mixing cup, slowly add egg and beat. Once beaten, add in the dry ingredients such as almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk, and mozzarella. Followed by almond milk and coconut oil. Mix until well incorporated.

Three: Cover and Set Aside

Once the mixture reaches that dough-like texture, transfer it to a bowl. Cover with saran or cling wrap. Set it aside in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Four: Form the Dumplings

After 30 minutes, take out the mixture from the fridge. This is the time that you need to shape the mixture into small balls. Spray a little bit of oil into your hands for the mixture to avoid sticking. Divide the dough into equal parts, get a small amount, and put it into your hands forming a ball. Repeat the process until everything is formed.

Five: Steam the Dumplings

Before steaming, line your steaming tray with a parchment paper. Oil the parchment paper with your oil of choice so that the dumplings will not stick. Line the dumplings in the steamer. Steam for 15 minutes.

Before freezing make sure that the dumplings are already cooled down. Put it inside an air-tight container or zip-top bag. Put it in the freezer. You can store them for up to 3 months. Please remember to avoid overcrowding when you freeze them. This is to prevent them from sticking together.
